Announcement of Class 86

GulfSport Racing is pleased to announce the introduction of the 86 Class to Gulf ProCar, this coming into effect for the 2024/25 Season.

This Class is dedicated to the entry of Toyota GT86 cars, a model that has prominently featured in Gulf ProCar in previous years, competing in the Class 4 classification. The establishment of Class 86 is an addition to the classification classes, with Class 4 remaining in the series for other 2.0L displacement machinery.

Class 86 will be required to conform to the same technical regulations as Class 4, of which will be released for all classes in the coming weeks.

For Class 86, a controlled slick race tyre will be mandated, these are only to be sourced from a nominated tyre supplier.

This decision comes after popular demand from the 86 community to have a dedicated spec classification, in mind of boosting the appeal of this class and towards Gulf ProCar as a whole.
