Gulf ProCar Takes its First Entries!

A little over a week after entries opened for the Gulf ProCar, interest and support for the race series has been really fantastic, and its exciting to see proper, paid entries coming through. Over the coming weeks we will report on every entry as and when its confirmed.

Local female racer Charley Simmonds is the first driver to complete their entry into the 2022/23 Gulf ProCar. She will also compete in the Sunday races in the TTR Trophy. This will be her second full season of racing, and after great improvements she is looking to grab that first podium in the coming season.

Charley added:

“With last year being the introduction to my experience in the racing world (in my lovely EBC Brakes liveried Clio), I’m so excited for this upcoming season! It will be awesome to see how the championship develops with the new Gulf Procar series and an exciting new opportunity in the TTR Trophy for the Clio racers to really get stuck in!

My main goal this season is to build on the experiences and techniques I have learned so far and just keep pushing to become increasingly competitive as the season progresses.”

We are very pleased to see Charley continue with her racing ambitions, and look forward to seeing her on track in the EBC Brakes Clio.
